The original that makes your house smell like a hospital.
I really, really love original formula Lysol for disinfecting multiple surfaces around my home. Toilets, bathtubs, shower stalls, trash cans, floors, plastic cutting boards, countertops, sinks, washable walls, and more! It has that classic phenolic smell with a hint of thymol, you know, the disinfectants used in hospitals up until about 10-20 years ago. It reminds me of Control III, which is another hospital grade disinfectant, but this Lysol is a better value (except not safe for directly disinfecting medical equipment).I buy this stuff too because it deactivates spores, and I live in a humid area where the mold, fungus, and mildew start growing in bathrooms during the summer. This helps keep that microbial growth down. Plus once its pungent smell is gone, whatever you cleaned will be deodorized. No more funky musty odors around your home. It has a decent amount of foaming which makes me feel like I'm getting the job done thoroughly.I did not have any issues with leakage when ordering directly from Amazon.

Best-of-the-Best Cleaning/Sanitizer/Deodorizer Concentrated Solution.
I'm no longer able to locate this specific cleaning solution in my regular grocery stores and I was quite disappointed that this best-of-the best cleaning, sanitizer, and deodorizer was no longer being sold in my grocery stores. However, I immediately conducted research to try and locate the liquid Lysol Concentrate (brown bottle) because I was running out of the solution. This specific Lysol Concentrate lasts for an extended period of time (must be diluted with water) and is perfect for cleaning the bathroom, kitchen, door handles, wood floors, etc., and doesn't leave a heavy perfume odor. Just a nice clean fresh scent. I purchased two (2) bottles to be on the safe side.

dont buy this for the scent, buy it for the effectiveness. Old school disinfectant that works
Old school. I havent used this in a couple of decades, and so I bought it on a whim. I saw lemon scented, but just know it still smells like concentrated bandaids. I am glad it still smells the same (kinda awful, haha). It's not one for making a cozy atmosphere, but it is something that works when you need the extra oomph in disinfecting. I prefer it over the pretty smelling stuff. I kinda like the weird slightly off putting smell, much like one might find skunk, bleach, or gasoline to be oddly satisfying. This falls into that category for me. It never gives me a headache, and it is overall really easy to use.Instructions are clear. I like to make up a small pan of it then just go over countertops, handles, walls, floors and other highly touched surfaces. I dont use it all the time, I dont think there is a need for it, but on occasion when I want to really go at it, I use this. Nice that it continues to be a concentrate, and is in a small bottle so it takes it up very little room.Worth the try, and the amount you get for the price is still very reasonable. I dont always find this in store (really if ever) so I am glad to see it here.

LOVE me some old fashioned Lysol!
Ugh, all the overwhelming scents of household cleaners these days - nauseatingly strong florals, tropical fruit overload, and the worst, cat-pee-pine. Give me that antiseptic wallop of good old Lysol disinfectant concentrate any day of the week! Okay, so it smells like Grandma's house, or hospital corridors. But it smells CLEAN, rather than like you have simply hidden the filth under powerful perfume. And it WORKS. We use it for everything from toilet bowls to the kitchen sink, add a couple drops to our basement dehumidifier to prevent mold growth - and as others have said, pet messes are obliterated by this stuff. Please, Lysol, never discontinue this excellent product.

What's the opposite of cat pee? This stuff.
We have 5 male cats. They're all neutered, but 3 were strays and so were neutered later in life. All of them have been caught doing some "territory marking" at some point or another, and their most frequent target when they're feeling the urge to be territorial is fabric. Dirty clothes left on the floor, bath mats, fabric tote bags, bedding, etc. This stuff is the only thing I have ever found that fully removes all cat pee smell from fabric in one wash. I put the affected items in the washer with a generous amount of this stuff (like up to half a bottle), run a soak cycle, and then launder as usual. If it's not machine washable (my son's metal frame hiking backpack), I soak in the bathtub for a couple of hours with this stuff and rinse and hang to dry, and always get a similarly great result.Yes, it smells somewhat medicinal, but compared to cat pee? It's ambrosial. The scent generally fades out of the washed item after it has time to air, and the cat pee smell will be long gone, too.

I love the scent of original Lysol& it kills germs.
I love original Lysol, love the scent too. My late maternal Uncle used it to clean the pigeon coop while he let the birds out to fly the neighborhood for hours. Great to clean & smelled so good, by the time the birds came back: their coop was clean& dry & didn’t harm the birds.

My All Time Favorite Disinfectant
This is my all time favorite Disinfectant. It's hard to find now in regular stores. This lasts a very long time since it is concentrated. I works so well so I will continue to use this for all my cleaning and disinfecting. Love the scent, not too strong or overpowering.
